EVER'S BIO

Ever Mainard is a stand-up comedian, writer and actress. 

Her spontaneous characters, quick-witted anecdotes, and quirky mannerisms will have you laughing well after her performance.  Her background in improv gives her the ability to create visceral and border line cathartic moments in her crowd work and off the cuff riffs.

 

 

Ever got her start in the Chicago stand-up scene and studied improv at The Second City and I.O.    Ever currently teaches specialized standup classes at The Second City and is available to teach private workshops.

 

 

Ever Mainard lives and works in Los Angeles, but got her comedic start in Chicago, where she was one of the city’s best stand-ups and a cast member of the esteemed Chicago Underground Comedy.

 

Chicago Magazine credits her with being one of the top 100 comics, Metromix/ Redeye said she’s one of the Top Seven Acts to Watch in 2012, and Gapers Block named her as one of The Most Influential Women in Chicago Comedy.

 

Ever has been seen on Showtime's Knock, Knock- Its Tig, CNN, Jezebel and BITCH Magazine, Cracked, Spin, The Todd Glass Show, Daily Motion with Andy Daily, and is included in Roxanne Gay’s book, ‘Bad Feminist.”

 

Ever Mainard can be seen touring and performing at festivals (OddBall Comedy Festival, RIOT, LA,  Just For Laughs, Bridgetown) and clubs across the country.  She has opened for Maria Bamford, Tig Notaro, Nick Thune, Moshe Kasher, Ian Karmel, and more. 

 

Ever has a bi-monthly storytelling show at The Last Book Store called The Last Book Review that is a Time Out Critic's Pick, a top pick in LAist, and recommended by LA Weekly, Divulge Magazine, and Yay!LA Magazine.   Ever also produces several shows at the Hollywood Improv- Catharsis with Aaron Weaver and Lindsay Adams  and Will Power, also with Lindsay Adams.
